Melia, Smith & Jones have worked on various education projects including Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, Higher Education and Further Education. MSJ have carried out various new build, extension and renovation works throughout the UK. Our depth of experience means that we are able to work closely with the design team, contractor and end users to engineer flexible solutions to a wide variety of education projects.
Abbey Grange Academy, Leeds
The project consisted of a 2-storey classroom extension to the existing academy with a new assembly hall and feature entrance. The surrounding area provided additional car parking facilities to the academy.
University of Hull, University House Refurbishment
The project consisted of the provision of a new external staircase, internal refurbishment including altered stairs, and new architectural roof concept which resembled a curved leaf-like structure.
St. Stephen’s RC School, Skipton
MSJ designed two additional buildings for the school and engineered the surrounding site to provide level playgrounds and playing fields.
